What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight.

Bit disappointing.... For 12,5 abv, I'd expect a monster of complexity. Slightly watery (!), cocoa & milk chocolate, sharp espresso notes on top. Certainly worthy of a trip around my liver, but....

Might be getting a little long in the tooth. Oxidized cardboard, odd fusal with a slight sour, almost soy sauce . Dry chocolate on the finish. Slight warming, but odd touch of diacytl along with the dry finish. Rated low because it didn't age well.

This one I at least have a basis for comparison for. It seems it has diminished quite a bit. Coffee is now weak, sweetness has faded, and about all that is left is some bitterness. Probably was good when it was fresh.

Bottled 2.16.16. Gotta continue purging this stuff in the cellar that I should have never held onto. Hard falloff. Definitely some oxidation, not fully cardboard, but stale. Coffee is only bitterness, dark chocolate powder, bourbon heat still there.
