This used to be a favorite circa 2013/2014. I have one bottle of 2016 left down in the cellar. Still drinking pretty strong. Burnt sugar/toffee/molasses.

Wow!! Been aging this for a long time in my office, worth the wait it’s fantastic! Definitely one that ages well! 4.65! Fun Bottle share sampling outside!

My favorite barrel aged brew. Found a few bottles from the 2016 release hiding in my beer vault. This beer has aged well.

Lost a good bit of flavor, but cherry smoothness is there. 2018 is more flavorful

Had a nice multi-year vertical here, thanks bro. I guess I have the same bottles as you. No surprise the older of these ‘16/‘19/‘21 were better. Really comes together after some time in the bottle

Bought a single off of the deep discount shelf today. It’s ok but is not at the original rating (which I am not adjusting for this check in). If you already have it on your shelf, drink it soon. It tastes like it could become a malt bomb at any time.

So yummy over 7 years later! Bottled on 9/30/16 @ 6:07 a.m. Love this beer! What a super fun Birth-week! 2 fantastic concerts, great friends & a lot of damn good beers! Back to football next weekend! Time to go to THE GAME! GO BLUE! 3PEAT!!!

Cellaring has leveled out this bold brew, but it is by no means mellow. All the right notes are still present with next to no "hot" boozy notes. Still incredible after all those years in the cellar

From the cellar. Super mellow and smooth. Light scotch and oak notes, roasted dark malts and maybe bourbon soaked raisins that linger. Ever so slightly oxidized. Enjoyable

Revisiting another Founders brew after 1 more year. 1 month shy of 4 years since it was bottled. 11.1 % and it improved since last year. Very nice 👍. I hope I have another one left!

Turned minty. Chocolate peppermint. Sweet. Way different than its original offering. Drinks like 6%
