This beer is complex, with multiple layers to the experience. Itโs subtle at first sip, lingering barrel aged boozyness,on the front pallet lends a smooth and creamy transition into a subtle sweetness with a dry cocoa/coffee bean finish. Delightfully rich

Smooth up front, nutty, lotsa chocolate and sweetness from vanilla. I like the coffee bitterness on the finish. From my Belmonts beer club!!

Like a suped up KBS. Less bourbon barrel more chocolate and coffee. Yummy.

Founders continually nails these barrel aged beers. Such a tasty brew! Flavors blend so well together. May have to get another pack. โ ๐บ

Donโt normally drink in the morning, but sharing beers with my friend Andrew living in Japan. This one is as advertised, but seems to lack โsoulโ. I taste everything in the profile, but the barrel age on this one seems more formality than necessary?

Good. KBS with lactose and extra chocolate. Missing something I canโt quite put my finger onโฆ.

Chocolate and coffee aroma. Smooth with coffee, then chocolate & vanilla that melted away to a sweet finish. I don't get any bourbon on the taste however.

Thanks PD for this one. Absolutely amazing. An exceptional Imperial Brown Ale (11.1%) aged in Bourbon barrels. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla shine. This is the truth.

> 4.00 < 4.25 very coffee forward. Vanilla and some sweetness come out as it warms. Not much bourbon barrel.
