Scarlet Dawn IPA

IPA - Red

It’s the dawn of an all-new session IPA! Brewed with an array of malts to provide a deep crimson hue, Scarlet Dawn Session Red IPA employs a range of hops that lend a floral aroma and keep the bitterness to a minimum. It’s straightforward, sessionable and will treat you right – morning, noon or night.

Haven’t had Red’s Rye in awhile, but this seems like a session version.

Sweet medium roasted maltiness. Hoppy! Bitter. Citrusy. Reminiscent of Reds Rye, but a little lighter body and flavor.

I don't know how I feel about this one. I don't love red ipas, and this has those distinct qualities. There's some flavor there that I don't like and I can't place

The non-rye version of Reds Rye?

Toasty and dry with mild caramel notes. Finishes a bit earthy.

Just tipping the scale above a true session, this beautifully colored, malty based IPA starts crisp and finishes clean with a mild bitterness. Nice work Founders…you’ve done it again!

Again, I’m philosophically opposed to ‘session IPAs’ but this isn’t too bad. I’d like the full version better…

This reminds me of the American Ales of old. Malty body, firm bitterness, floral and early American hop aroma and flavor. Well executed and clean, crisp and very tasty! It's a win for old school American Ale lovers! 🍺🍻🍺
