Really sipable for an imperial brown ale. A bit nutty on the nose and effervescent throughout.

Not particularly a fan of the style, but the brown ale is ALWAYS better barrel aged. This is no exception. Chocolate, coffee and vanilla on every sip. The barrel is more present as it warms up. Outstanding offering by Founders 🍻🍻🍻😂

As usual, Founder's Barrel Aged Series doesn't disappoint! Awesome flavor!!!!!

4.4. I'm really like this brew. The only thing that is missing is the body.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Note to self: buy this again. Pretty much can’t ask for anything else in a dark beer.

Best brown ale I’ve had in a while. Well done, Founders.

One of those rare beers that is everything it says it is (and maybe a little bit more). So many flavors, mostly sweet, but that bitter coffee right at the end is perfectly balanced. As all things should be.

This is like cold press coffee, the bourbon comes through but not boozy. Excellent!

Nice coffee and chocolate flavor and lighter than the normal stouts.

Another great BA brown from Founders. Reminiscent of Sumatra Mountain Brown.

Boozy with mocha undertones and a vanilla aftertaste. It’s a tad mediciney in an artificial way.

Truly enjoyed this 11.1% bourbon barrel aged BROWN

Flavor is sweet milk chocolate, roast coffee beans, bourbon, and vanilla. Big, round, and thick. Sweet and boozy. By itself it is a bit much, but pair with a coffee cake

12oz 11.1% sweet smooth bba brown. Don't like it as much as underground brown from same brewer. Still good sipper.

Not necessarily sure what this is trying to accomplish. It’s good, but odd.
