Dooood. What a powerhouse! Rich, sweet, boozy, but the bookings is cut by the sweetness of the Hazelnut. It's dessert to some degree, but not as sweet as some other stouts. In bottles at CBU.

I'll go on the record and say this is better than regular KBS

Chocolate frangelico coffee. Rich roasted flavor.

Wonderful taste. I had my choice of this or the cinn/choc stout. This definitely is in the top tier of bourbon barrel beers. While watching YouTube videos.

Delicious but a tad heavy for the upcoming hot weather….one last hurrah before retiring the heavy stouts for the season….

Really nice and smooth. I like the nuttines. Chocolate and coffee is good level. Alcohol is a bit hot. A year aging will help a bunch!

The hazelnut and chocolate are a perfect blend. It’s smooth and creamy, hints of coffee. Delicious. East Beast Challenge 2022 is officially over and I am celebrating!

Melted dark chocolate bars slowly smother roasted hazelnuts browned by that familiar OG KBS barrel aged flame, scorching warm 12% notes of smoky bourbon, freshly ground coffee, & malted barley sweetness deep within the nostrils & tastebuds. Elite variant.

Boozy with rich decadent chocolate bold coffee and a nice nutty taste of hazelnut. Thanks Jim!

While it is boozy it is very, very good. It has notes of coffee, chocolate and hazelnuts.

Last one for the season, quite possibly my new favorite beer.

Kbs scores a nice one with this. Hazelnut strong but not to roasty. Not a lot of strong bourbon on the back even as it warms up. Nice sipper, delicious all the way through.
