Phenomenal beer. Smooth, mellow coffee and just enough hazelnut to not supercede the malts. I REALLY need to seek out & start drinking more of the KBS line-up.

22-14, well, I’ve got enough wakefulness left for this decadent 12% Founder’s breakfast stout that has delicious hazelnut owning the experience, with some hints of coffee and chocolate throughout and blooming ABV warmth on the finish. Deliciousness! 🍻

Actually very tasty (coming from someone who doesn’t even like stouts)

Morning hazelnut brew, creamy with a pretty nice carbonation, low foamy head, dark, roasty, not sweet, the coffee of course is there, bourbon notes but not overwelhming, sip slowly enjoy this beer and get some warth if you are in the right weather, 12.0%

Velvety smooth with fine notes of gently roasted coffee beans and dark bitter chocolate wrapped in a fuzzy hazelnut casing finishing with a distant note of oak.

The intensity and character of a moersleutel But with none of the cirkus. Chocolate, coffe and nougat for days bit without much sweetness. A welcome sourness that meshes Well. A touch of vanilla would have been dope!

My favoeite of the KBS! Quite lovely! The flavoring masks the bourbon taste, which I appreciate.

Just boozy enough. Very dark and rich… only got the hazelnut when it was ice cold. Still fantastic regardless.

Very good…strong…but smooth for as high as the ABV is. Great when mixed with Samuel Smith’s Organic Chocolate Stout!!!

Imperial Coffee Stout 12% ABV 45 IBU with Hazelnut notes of chocolate, coffee, and strong aroma and flavor from Hazelnut and warming boozy finish. Not much from bourbon barrels other than the warming alcohol at the finish. Bottled 02/02/22.

In my Austin Powers voice “It’s a bit nutty.” Got better as I got deeper into the bottle. Big hazelnut flavor.
