Late check-in. Hazelnut and dark roast dominates... a bit boozy with subtle flavor from the barrel aging...

Been anxiously awaiting this one. Pours a deep dark brown color with aromas of hazelnut and bourbon. The mouthfeel is medium with flavors of hazelnut up front, followed by the typical KBS flavors underneath. Hazelnut started to die out as it warmed.

Enjoyed this one. Might be my favorite KBS. Need to side by side a few to be sure.

Not the biggest hazelnut fan in the world but I love KBS and not surprising that this beer was great

They did the hazelnut well! “I’m your huckleberry” Edit: I didn’t realize this was 12%, changed score cause it drank like 8%

Black pour with a tan head. Hazelnut, and graham cracker nose, with a hint of caramel. It tastes like KBS up front, the tasty stout with bourbon notes. The hazelnut hits hard on the back, and adds to the flavor. Slight burn, good body. Delicious

A great variation of KBS. It's not as sweet as you would expect with hints of cocoa and espresso with lots of hazelnut.
