Very pleasant hazelnut aroma on the nose; competes against a nice coffee taste on the palate. A bit of booziness, but reasonable. Overall, very nice stout.

The Hazelnut provides a nutty flavor, which mellows the coffee flavor of the base without completely masking it. The bourbon flavor is mild.

Taster. Coulda had more but at 12% and driving didn't. Hazelnut (Filberts?) and bourbon barrel aging make a great pair. Smooth and tasty.
