The hazelnut complements KBS fantastically! Tastes and smells just like fresh ground coffee. So good!

Starts with the nut. Finishes with chocolate. Very tasty.

Not in the same league as the Mackinac Fudge version (a little less thick), but still amazing.

It tastes better as it warms. Boozy hazelnut needs more coffee and chocolate flavor. 4.03

Taster. Coulda had more but at 12% and driving didn't. Hazelnut (Filberts?) and bourbon barrel aging make a great pair. Smooth and tasty.

tbe hazelnut overpowers all Barrel comes out a tad (and I mean a small tad) after it warms up a bit. The OG KBS still outclasses these variants. Maybe they are trying too hard and pressured since becoming macro brewery owned and putting avg stuff out?

I love hazelnut and it works really well in this beer.

Tasty, but not as good as the original. The nuttiness overwhelms the base flavors, diminishing the overall effect.

First sip, I thought "they finally goofed one up." But it's better as it warms. Smooth, nice, lightly sweet hazelnut flavor. It still has that KBS woodiness and dry finish, with coffee and chocolate malts. Pretty good stuff!

Another great KBS Beer. Founders does a great job with this series ๐๐ป. Itโs great to be home with my beautiful family. I am a very lucky man. I am blessed in so many ways it just blows my mind. Cheers to Family and Friends which includes all of you ๐ป

Mostly coffee and some hazelnut. Not really getting any barrel flavor. Not a big fan of most KBS variants. Founders needs to step the KBS game up.

The hazelnut is pretty overpowering but I really donโt mind that. The barrel is very underwhelming and that takes away for me.
