Aroma: strong dark roast coffee with subtle scents of dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla & oats. Taste: oatmeal creme pie with dark mocha & bourbon cream finish. Still love what the aging did with this stout. Roasted bitterness at the end with mocha notes.

Starter med masser af chokolade de første slurke. Har så et ganske sprittet midterstykker inden bourbon og kaffe kommer med varmen og lidt ilt. Anbefaling. Lad den lige stå 15-20 min i glasset.

Bourbon. Coffee and vanilla. Nothing too overwhelming, well balanced. Satisfying alcohol warmth. Thick and creamy mouthfeel. Awesome stuff.

Every once in a while its good to stay in your comfort zone with this classic. No further explenation is needed, talked plenty of times about this one in previous (vintage) check-ins.

Outstanding beer. The coffee and chocolate come through strong. Followed by a mild bourbon barrel flavor.

An explosion of vanilla in the nose. Loads of chocolat, and coffee on the tongue and a long warm mellow aftertaste filled with coffee, chocolat and a hint of bourbon

Bottled 3/1/22 . Enjoying a delicious brew to celebrate and in memory of the loss of a father figure to me. Get a lot of bourbon the chocolate is still present and nice hints of coffee. Always such an impressive beer and a great sipper. Cheers everyone!

Quite acidic for a barrel aged brew but still delightful. Coffee is really distictive and strong, the wood notes from the barrelageing comes at the end. Strong alcohol.
