Boozy chocolate aroma. Nice blend of chocolate with boozy coffee finish. Unsure of hazelnut flavor but really nice.

Why did this variety take so long?!? The incredible blast of dark chocolate and hazelnut hit me as soon as I started the pour - a beautiful and familiar aroma. The flavor still has notes of a young KBS, but after three months it is starting to mature.

4.377... From a Non-Coffee lover, the Hazelnut makes the staple KBS so much better!!! Great Hazelnut and Coffee aromas that you enjoy with Chocolate in every sip. Another great KBS variant!!!!

Well, can’t believe I’m only gonna rate this 4.5, but I just can’t justify higher with how thin this turned out. Aromas are amazingly nutty, the best part of this brew IMO. Taste is boozy strong and nutty, but thin and lacking full body.

It’s almost like if they made a sophisticated peanut butter KBS. So smooth and decadent. The coffee roast is the yin and the sweet nuttiness is the yang. Kinda love this.

Love KBS and their variants. This newer one was well done. Like drinking a cup of hazelnut coffee with a dusting of cocoa on top. Only negative was the barreling being a bit faint.

Smells like boozy hazelnut coffee. I lose the bozziness in the initial taste, just hazelnut coffee to my taste, finishing with chocolate notes and roastiness.

The aroma is reminiscent of sticking your face inside a box of ‘nilla wafers backed with cocoa and coffee. Founders remains the king of year-round available barrel aged stouts with this one. Good bitterness to boot.
