Dark in color. Little head light lacing. Hazelnut with hints of cocoa on nose. Creamy mouthfeel reveals pungent acidity expected from the Imperial style but mostly hazelnut, toffee, and cocoa on taste. Balanced. Paired well with my Whoopie Pie.

Rugged. It's got nuts. Probably too fresh out of the tap.

Lots of hazelnut. Alcohol is a bit piercing. Could use a little more flavour integration and decadence.

Better than I thought. Not really a hazelnut fan but this was good

Too funny…my wife says it tasted like 7-11 smells and it’s true. That situation improves a bit as it warms. Definitely prefer standard KBS.

The hazelnut is spot on. Base stout is roasty and bitter - could use a touch of sweetness.

Pretty solid but I can taste the hazelnut from here to kingdom come.

So smooth for a 12 abv bourbon stout this beer is definitely worth having

Earlier: Sweet hazelnuts and decent barrel. Better on tap.

This is just straight hazelnut coffee on the nose. Not as much barrel flavor forward as most, but a very good variant.

The flavor has a strong nutty flavor with roast and chocolate. There are also bourbon notes with very low dark fruits.

Lots of hazelnut smell not much hazelnut taste. Still a good beer

Smooth like a daily drinker, which is a rare thing I say about a stout. A thinner boded stout with subtle hazelnut added. There is a true “roasty” flavor to it. It’s pleasant all around.
