I’ve missed this stuff. A bit more bubbly than I recall from a couple years ago, but the maple/fudge flavor is spot on. Backing off the rating just a tad for the foamy mouthfeel.

Very good. Rich chocolate, nice roasted malt, some nutty flavor. This will get even better in a few months.

Both amazing. Would have to give a slight edge to 2022. Boss lady likes the 2020 better.

Maple on the nose for sure. The barrel expresses itself well throughout the experience w/ the heavy chocolate of fudge being the main player. I would have liked more maple to better compliment the BA character, but a very good Stout nonetheless.

A touch more maple this year to complement the strong chocolate and coffee notes, but the Bourbon ones are fairly faint. It’s still an outstanding Imperial Stout though.

This year’s brew is even better than prior ones. Very well balanced. Liquid chocolate!
