I really like this but at the same time it does have a lot going on and I usually like things simpler. But it is a good beer if you like darker stouts. This is not a beer for the IPA crowd.

Old label was better. I haven’t checked this in since 2017. Used to be one of my favorite stouts. Still solid.

Can definitely see where this was founders OG stout of greatness that paved the way for future excellence. Getting dark robust coffee and bitter chocolate notes that leave a little bit more to be desired.

Nose is coffee and chocolate. Taste is roasty coffee and fruity dark chocolate. Not too complex but nice.
