Don’t get a lot of blueberry, just a sweet taste up front with a classic KBS boozy finish

Blueberry is strong which I like but then there is a little bitter finish which is weird.

The standard barrel aged KBS goodness. Sweet vanilla, coffee, and dark chocolate. The blueberry, unfortunately skews the flavors awkwardly. The tart and fruity flavors don't fully complement the expected flavors really well but it's still quite good

Coffee, bourbon, and tart, acidic blueberry juice. Would have preferred a more earthy take on the blueberry, but the up-front brightness of it makes it a little better suited for summer.

I had to try this, but I knew it wasn’t going to be great. It is unique and somehow works. Coffee and blueberries? It is good, not bad. This is a fair rating.

5/5 on Principle but damn this is really good. The blueberries add a nice tartness to the stout—which is tasty when it’s on purpose. Only suggestion I have is that THIS variant should’ve been aged in the Maple Syrup Barrels (like CBS). Still great though!

Right off the bat sweetness from the blueberry. Finishes with mild tartness and some barrel. I think Koz better but this isnt awful.

Slight blueberry in the nose. Great blueberry flavor that combines well with the base beer. Bourbon is disguised and I can’t help but think of blueberry pancakes.

Warmed up for 90 minutes and it’s really genuinely fire. Most of the criticisms I’ve seen fade away when properly decanted and temp’d.

They can throw whatever adjuncts in it they want, but gone are the days of KBS being a great ba imperial stout. Lizard of koz was much better. Just another thin and uninspiring above average release. Year round release/selling the company ruined kbs.
