This is a strong bourbon barrel stout, very smooth but not something you’ll be able to pound. Savor this one and enjoy the flavor.

Tastes like if you brewed a stout with that blueberry syrup you get at IHOP. Rich, tart, sweet.

The smell is barrel aged stout, boozy. It drinks very rich and heavy, initial flavor is barrel aged booze and chocolate that has more of a wine flavor...with an oily texture. It's unique and good, just wish it didn't feel oily/syrupy.

Sadly, my least favorite KBS variant. Not a huge fan of sours and this one’s a bit tart.

Very based str0nk barrel aged dark malt. Syrupy, sweet.

It's a stout with blueberries. It's 4.0 in a taster, but 12 oz might be a bit much to drink. Hence, the 3.75 rating.

Not my favorite variant, but certainly a nice addition. Blueberry up front chased by bourbon, coffee, and a little chocolate.

There was a surprising amount of blueberry flavor and aroma. It was a bit of a strange blend for me but if you like blueberries and chocolate or coffee I would recommend this one.

Thin head on pour. Really need to concentrate to taste any blueberry flavor.

I like it, but wish the blueberry flavor was sweet and not tart. Not enough barrel aging as with other KBS offerings.

Very heavy on the vanilla making it a little too sweet. I would have liked a little more booziness and flavor from the bourbon barrels.

Could immediately smell the blueberries 🫐 opening the bottle. Had high hopes. Hard time finding it for some reason. Very sweet. Just a hint of barrel. These heavy handed flavor adjuncts are not the best. Cheers to boozy Tuesday 🍻🤑

Getting mostly chocolate with a hint of blueberry. It's cold atm so I am curious if more fruit comes out as it warms. I like it more than I thought I would.

Founders just doesn't make anything bad, but I will say that this isn't one of my favorite KBS varieties.

Had to have this, as it was a gift from fellow Hawkeye Russ P. Iowa wins 2023 CyHawk 🏈, but it wasn’t pretty. Mostly barrel here, some fruity sweetness, but I wouldn’t guess blueberry. Like Iowa’s offense, it gets the job done, but nothing to brag abt.

Blueberry throughout with the base beer. Chocolate present but coffee seems to take a big back seat.
