Drinking thru my cellar. Thought it would be too long but enjoying this. Cocoa, oak, bourbon are main flavors I am getting.

11 years old. N: Freezer burnt peppers, oxidized. P: Better than I thought. Still a bit oxidized, but I think I might finish this tipple (instead of drain pouring). Today's rating 3.75+.

Fell off hard. Enjoyed the heavy brewers licorice but has devolved into a deep dark bitter chocolate bomb. Slowly improving but probably won't finish the whole thing.

12 year old KBS, interesting. Drinks differently from what I remember, and definitely differently from what it has become today, but I actually kinda really like it. It's...harmonious, almost homogenous! The coffee has fallen off but has become in sync...

A bit of oxidation. Almost no life in carbonation. Roasty. Some coffee. Not as strong as the others.

Maybe? At least 10 years old. No date on bottle. Cocoa, vanilla, light pepper nose. Light cocoa, light vanilla. Quite watery at this point.

Bourbon barrels on the nose, mouthfeel a bit thin, finish is pure black coffee

Actually... The 2012 is a bit harsher than the 2018. By harsher I mean it's not as smooth.

11.5 yrs old. Has mellowed: coffee is more muted, barrel is there but smoother. Not boozy, especially for 11%. Reduced carbonation. Still doing well. 12oz, 8*

Amazing Barrel notes , coffee pretty much said Adios, xocolate presente..You can taste time in this KBS..somehow I taste dry peppers?...Good but past its Prime...still enjoyable

Side by side with a 2018. 2012 is way better. Feels more rich and malty. 2018 felt like a watered down version.
