Bourbon & its oak blend beautifully with maple, cinnamon, & nutmeg in this all-but-pumpkin pumpkinesque beer. Big surprise: it’s boozy too.

OK, so there may be cinnamon here and I don’t like cinnamon and beer, but it is so subtle that it works when blended with the maple syrup and other spices. This beer is delicious.

Boozy bourbon barrel aged taste upfront. Notes of maple syrup, caramel, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Complex and flavorful, at 13.1% pretty damn smooth,.. mild bitterness on end.

Interesting! Syrupy character but not cloying. Almost fruity in its high notes. Lovely spiciness. Doesn't seem as boozy as it is.

Wow…a sweet, boozy taste is what hits me right away. Flavors of maple syrup, caramel, toffee, cinnamon and mild pumpkin spices show up as I let it rest. The barrel aging adds a distinct bourbon taste to the brew. ABV makes this one a sipper for sure. 🍻

A Michigan beer to signify my allegiance in this game 😄 This was a rare find back home over the holidays. A big pump beer for sure with loads of spices and sweetness that dominates along with the barrel.

Creamy head, oak and vanilla aromas with cinnamon and nutmeg notes, bourbon and sweet brown ale tastes with hints of caramel, maple syrup, and toffee, smooth sipping beer, warming alcohol finish with a mild bitterness on end. Thanks Sam P.!

Wow! This is one sweet, nutmeggy beer! I want to love it but woowee is sweet. That maple syrup really shines. The spices are very nice. Clocking in at 13% this is a one and done but glad I purchased it

13.1% ABV BBA Imperial Yam Beer. Sweeter than I would prefer, but nice balanced flavors of bourbon, Yam, baking spices, and maple.
