Looks great, smells great. Coffee falls short, burnt stale coffee with bitter baker’s chocolate. I think if they’d tone down the adjuncts it could be great, but as is its overbearing

I don't hear so well but my ears certainly perked up when the beer guy an aisle over tells a customer "and there's your CBS". Couldn't get there fast enough. A very pleasant and unexpected surprise. Soooo good!

I’ve got a list of things to do. But instead I made a fire and am drinking this.

Great way to end a Saturday with Michigan winning the big ten championship!

Chocolate sniff. Thick and luxurious maple sip. Cherry, coffee, honey and a deep booziness that beckons to the abyss.

Incredibly drinkable for being so fresh and at almost 12%. Big coffee, maple, and fudge notes with some toasted coconut on the back of the tongue. Simply delish.

A lot of chocolate and coffee, bittersweet and roasted malts, but I don't get a lot of the maple that I love.

So happy this is back. Would give it a 5.25 is possible.

Classic, but no BA profiles coming thru for me. Typical of Founders now not keeping up w Barrel Aged stouts in the market.

Tasty and layered. Maple sweetness upfront. Vanilla, bourbon notes, roasted malt and a tad dry finish from barreling. Complex and so glad to see this back.

This is in the 4-4.25 range. Not what I remember from the incredible OG type batches but the maple is natural tasting and lot of coffee and roast. Little bit of Chocolate, have to dig for the maple flavor. Barrel character could be better.

It is very clearly not what it used to by as Founders continues to shift to cost cutting mass production etc (here, adding maple syrup instead of BLiS barrels in the olden days). It's still very good but not what it was
