The chocolate is quite prominent with mild chili notes. It could serve to be spicier and lean more in the chili element to keep up with some of its peers, but still quite good

Latest KBS variant. Smooth sweet chocolate flavor with slight chili spice finish. Barrel flavor not very present. Wish there was a little more spice given it is a spicy variant but still very good.

Even letting it warm a bit, I'm still not getting the "spicy". If you're gonna be spicy, kick me in the mouth with it!

Bfln. I dug it. Needed heat. None there for the most part.

Not too bad, one of those beers that the flavor profile really changes as you get farther into it. We shall see.

I love me some Mexican chocolate. Spicy and chocolatey. Creamy!

Did not go in the direction I thought it would. Lots of non-spicy pepper & dark chocolate.

It’s good. Top half of KBS variants but doesn’t make me want to choose it over the original.

Just ok but I'll add this to my Mexican chocolate ones to bring to Scott C.

CBS and Mackinac fudge are still my favorites. Especially nitro CBS.

Cannot believe I scooped the Beer Assistant on this one! She's been hunting with no success. This is not heat spicy but rather lots of spicy y flavors melded together. Another solid one from the Founders crew!

FLN. Good beer, but didn't get much spiciness or chocolate.

20 years of KBS! The KBS variants tend to be reliably good & this version balances rich bittersweet chocolate with a chile heat that lingers without being overly dominant. Jet black w slight rim of tan head that lasts. Subtle, lasting mole chile heat.
