Intense dark malts, ancho chilies, and bitter cocoa nose. Flavors of layered sweet dark malts, bitter dark chocolate, smoked chili peppers, and oak. The finish is long, with bitter chocolate, subtle bourbon, and chili heat.

I think I was expecting more spicy heat, but there's something there.

KBS for sure, coffee seems stronger on the palate. Very minor heat that merely warms the throat and body center.

Not everyone likes the mild spice or smoke flavor. More for me!

Got the coffee, got the chocolate, got the peppers. No hot alcohol booziness. Another fine addition to the KBS palette.

Excellent evening sipper! - thick black with brown tinge and medium thick tan head, pleasant roasty aroma, smooth with great mouthfeel, pleasantly chocolate with a bit of sweet and a nice mild peppery heat - yum! Great on its own! Packs a 12% punch

Plnoy bad, but out of the espresso and chocolate cherry variants, this is my least favorite.

4.35. I think it's better then it's rating but not the best variant by any means.

Enjoying the weather and celebrating the episode of the It's Not That Bad podcast I was on dropping today. It's about Studio 666, the Foo Fighters movie. This is a high octane beer at 12%. Chocolate and a bit of heat from the chilli and peppers.

This is a tough one to rate. The flavors are all very good, but none of them really stand out above the others. The chocolate is dark. The spice is less than expected for being called “spicy”, but still present. I wanted more, but I’m not unhappy.
