Fun experiment (dusty 6yo bottle) but not much more than that - prune, raisin, dark chocolate, molasses. Enough acidity and residual alcohol heat to keep it interesting for the first 10 odd minutes while it still had carb.

Chocolate nose, cloudy brown with no foam, big caramel with some chocolate raisin sweet, boozy burn, deep

Still poured a big head, good carb. Deep and complex. Only a little heat on the back end from the big boy booze. Sticky raisins but not too sweet

Wow, so good every time. It’s sad this is discontinued and many people won’t try but fortunately I have some to share with friends!

A ridiculously loaded Belgian Brown with heaps of raisins. Sweet Belgian boozy dark fruits and a clean finish. Cheers to Chuck H., as this reminds me of you!

Long time fan. Stoked we have a place that sat on this. If it isn't at its peak, then damn. You need this in your facd!

I think DFH made tons of this year. I find it in lots of places with discounted prices. It’s effing great.

At 4 and a half years of age this one is drinking gloriously. Very much like a port at this point. The sharpness of the alcohol has faded very nicely. Dark malt and dark fruit find perfection. Love it. Wish I had more then 2 left in the cellar.

Boozy raisin nose. Man oh man! Super booze right up front, immediately softened by the flavor and sweetness of the raisin. Nice malty undertow, with light brown sugar. This held up so damn well!!

Better than fresh, less burn, but still some heat. Found it on sale today. Saving my cellar bottles.

Just over a year since I had it last and Roger Smith Junior having the 2014 version, I had to break one out… 4.65

Aged wonderfully. Brown sugar, malt raisins. Just a hint of hop flavors.
