Drink NOW or cellar for a DECADE (or so). At least it no longer tastes like a tire fire. Still boozy af

Cherry wine vibes, boozy but waaaaaay smoother than I would expect for 18%. It’s really good. Bday beer 23/30. Thanks to Jeff M. for this legend.

My goodness. First time I’ve actually had one aged and it does not disappoint. Thank you John H. !

I have been aging this thing since 2017 waiting for a good reason to open it and today is the day.

Aged 3 years in keg, the intensity of bitterness has faded, the hips express as earthy and floral with lingering light spice. Overall complex and interesting

As you can see, lots of floaties. It's still very strong, but the booziness is subsiding. Am I getting a hint of sherry? I reported some fruitiness last time, but I'm not sure about that - that's why I'm going with sherry. 3 sips and my tongue is numb.

Well wow. Amazing depth, raisin, hops, smooth. That’s the good. Also good, now I’m hammered.

Darker and boozier than I thought it would be after aging 3 years. Reminded of Goose Island BB in a way.

Noticeable difference between the 16 and 17. But still good.

I hated this beer fresh when I bought them. I was like one of the only ones that didn’t get. After aging for 3 years, I totally understand now. It’s like a great barleywine.

Aging has mellowed this out even more.... quite good.... but not really an IPA/hoppy taste at all.

Keg aged at my local pub for 3 years takes an already smooth as hell beer and adds to it.

Cellared for 3 1/2 years. Where did the abv go? Sweet caramel and toffee sauce!
