The doubled alcohol in the extra makes a big difference. Still good.

Another that's been in the cellar for quite a few years. I'm picky on the Belgians that I like and this one of them. Not as estery as most. Just enough sweetness comes out more as it warns. Pleasant.

Old school brew, new school packaging. Love that dfh did a small batch at the pub in RB. Classic.

I actually like this better than when I first tasted it. Strong maltiness with a Belgian estery boldness. The ruby-mahogany is really a pleasant colour with a clarity that marries well.

This is so awful. It's horribly metallic and it's not even in a can. It also tastes Bourbon barrel aged, not as much raisins. I tossed it out. Yuck.

Strong, it taste crazy strong compared to the last few strong beers and its only an 8%

Strong with abundant raising notes and sweet finish. Pretty solid beer but not sure I could drink it all night

Had to try it. The raisins do come out in the end. Good strong dark ale.

Burnt toffee nose, sweet Belgian sugar. Fairly thick body, moderate carbonation. Similar finish, well-balanced, strong but not overpowering. Also, happy birthday, Jacquie!🎂

Always a go-to favorite! Strong, so less bottles necessary! Complex, so delightful drinking!

Wow! What flavor! And from an ale although a very dark one. Raisins! It comes thru immediately

2020 vs. 2013 and the 13 held up surprisingly well. Slightly oxidized but still almost as flavorful as the 20. 20 drinks a little fuller and spicier. Still a great beer and miss it in distro.

A good complex brew from one of my favorite breweries. A ‘19 vintage, which I don’t see as an option here, it’s held up just fine.
