I’m sad that I drank my last one!

Holy moly, this is intense. And what better time to drink an 18% than Friday night of a three-day weekend?

This one’s almost immediately going to my head. Leather & black licorice & dark red wine & black coffee & black rum & 88% darkest chocolate. As the label says, it’s “rich, roasty, & complex.” As it warms, it’s even more intense, & it becomes Kraken-like.

If this isn't the best beer I've ever had, it is very very close

There is so much going on in this beer; I have looked for this for two years and I finally found it! Incredible complexity & amazing flavor profiles merge into an amalgamation of brewing perfection. This can only be described as the “nectar of the gods”.

Superb stout aged in superb barrels. The sherry, raisin and red fruit notes of Utopias are layered on top of the massive dark malts, high bitterness and high roastiness of the stout. Notes of chocolate and coffee. Boozy without being hot.

Cocoa and truffle aroma, just a hint of booziness. Big chocolate taste up front with more pronounced booze. Some bitterness at end, but perfectly balanced. Mouthfeel not at all what I expected-thick but not creamy. Worth every penny-brilliant!

Very special with Ray. Nose is bourbon and raisin. Surprised at how balanced this is for the 17.2 abv. First bourbon and deep malt. Followed by sweet and tart dark fruit. As the beer goes down all i can say is chocolate. Semi sweet. Vanilla in aftertaste.

Amazing beer. Worth the price, and definitely buying more to put away in the cellar for a while.

I only have exquisite and perhaps overly graphic things to say about this beer.

Great deep flavor unlike anything I’ve tried. Slightly chilled this is full of character. Dark fruit, wood alcohol only at the end. Still thick after barrel influence. Worth the price, very special.

Much more mellow than other imperials I've had. Definitely a sipping beer, though. It doesn't feel like it's 17.3 abv when you're sipping at it.

Damn good stout. Heavy, rich, and decadent. I want to both drink it faster and savor it. Shame the store only had three one pack.

Quite boozy of course and the flavors are very stong and bold but it isnt so thick it drags down. Dark strong and light? A whisky of a beer.
