Deep caramel notes before resinous spice. Bitter but smooth. Thanks again Jay

I think the sweet spot for this beer is 4 years. This is still amazing though ❤️ This is ambrosia

Yes, I still had 1 last bottle of this. I can’t believe how well this held up. Tastes like a nutty BA barley wine. Definitely some sort of oxidation going on, to be expected.

Hops are virtually gone. Raisin and caramel flavors. Nice vintage bottle.

Boozy! Mind as well be sucking on an extra strength Halls, covered with rubbing alcohol, and served on a bed of 2 week soggy tobacco leaves. Ah, yea kinda pleasant. 🤪

Wow-this has lasted 6yrs in a crowler-talk about quality!! Malty dank sweetness with a bit of rust - such a special treat, thank you Meg M. & Jon, for this & all the other fab beers you treated us to!!

Merry Christmas to All! 6+ years old and age is on its side. Boozy, malty sweetness and smooth. Hops stand strong and lingers on the follow thru. Better than the last one 2 years ago.

Not a drop of heat, fruity notes, not sure it will age any better!

Boozy, brandy-like, barleywine sweetness! Fantastic 7-yr aged malt liqueur

Yanked this out of the cellar.. wow.. Aged 120 is excellent! Tastes like 10% not almost 20%! Similar to an excellent barleywine in flavor.. very complex

I didn’t realize 120 day was a thing until I saw the Dogfish Head IG post.

Hops have faded to a light resin/floral character with almost no bitterness and a big caramel maltiness

Bottled 9/17/14 - I am getting a lot of dark fruit and malt. It’s very boozy (18% ABV) and masks almost all of the extreme level of hoppiness (fine in my book). There is a burn, like a fine liquor, that coats my tongue. This dark, aged beer is excellent.
