5/28/14. Jeez. I now understand. I am now a believer.

Deep Deep storage, I think my oldest cellared beer thus far, 03/18/14. Just over 6 years old (almost 6.5). Aged very well! Still a bit of hoppiness with a sweet malty smooth backbone! And still a boozy kick! ππππ₯π₯π₯π₯π₯

Six and a half years later, holds up. Heat gone. Complexity added. Different, but still perfect

One of the 5 beers I put in my Das Boot for my Election Night megachug. Representing American beers, and representing excessive extremes.

Wow! One more bottle left to store for a couple more years.

Malty, sweet, with a twinge of sharp hoppiness at the finish. Has mellowed out quite a bit.

Hop Bitterness is extremely subdued after all this time. Incredibly sweet like rum raisin. A friend said chocolate notes at the end which Iβll say yes, sort of, in the way that dark chocolate dryly lingers in your mouth.

Painful day, time to ramp up the #beerpurge2021 as I'm running out of space for beer. It's a good problem... this was awesome though, malty, light booze

Rich sweet & malty. Smooth but not too strong for 18% abv

Sultano raisins, brown sugar, quite boozy still. F*cking amazeballs! And at 7 years old - wow.

Well, what a lovely excuse for a holiday. It's 120 Day and I have opened my next to last 2014 120. It is just what is needed. It is everything I love in a beer.

Giving it a 5 because I know it is solid. Should have been drank prob a couple years ago.

Well aged and packs a wallop. Thanks, Chris.

Holy shit!!!! An IPA transformed into a barley wine.

Hops kept this one very tasty. Caramel apple with a faint whisper of jagermeister. Sadly carbonation was very low after almost ten years but no heat on this boozy treat.

Aged beautifully. Smooth and boozy, notes of sherry. Seems appropriate to be enjoying the "holy grail for hopheads" in an actual grail. Well done with this glassware, Dogfish! π»

First VGN after I got married. It has mellowed out after 9 years in the bottle. Carbonation has faded, but still not too shabby. Think I'll open my 2016 sooner than later.

I think this stuff will age forever and still be incredible

I think this is a 2014, bottle manufactured 2013. Very smooth considering the sky-high ABV. Malty. Pretty much a barleywine.

I cracked this open to celebrate Laura's completion of the Destiny 2 game campaign the Saga of Light and Dark, which was 10 years in the making. Congratulations to all the players! The beer, of course, aged well and is still amazing.

Caramel, citrus, zesty finish. This has aged well! #beergreat #dustytreats
