Thick and syrupy cherry booze bomb. Ethanol hit is tamed by the faint chocolate. In the end, surprisingly drinkable for 17%

Just like a rich chocolate cherry cake! Awesome aged an additional 6 years

#1500 unique! Thanks MJ for the offering. This was bottled in October 2015 so it’s been conditioning for almost 6 years. Poured in a crystal cordial glass, this syrupy brandy like elixir was heavy on the booze and would best be enjoyed on a cold night.

Chocolate, cherries... Truly a Belgian inspired beer. This is amazing.

6 years later, doesn't taste boozy at all, smells a tad boozy. Literally just a massive amount of chocolate with a hint of dried cherries. Changed so so much from 2015.

…. This is better than 120. Cocoa and cherry. Boozy and so mellow

Don’t really know how to describe it. Kind of like a chocolate covered cherry

Finally had it. A shot would be perfect. 12 oz is too much. Cool idea in any event, esp for 6 years ago.

Barleywine lover's beer here. Robust cherry, chocolate 17%

Strange beer, but all-in-all it ends up tasting like a barelywine blended with red wine. I'm down. 17% is there, but not objectionable

Not my style. But, 6 years old with no booziness on at 17%’er.

Aged this beer 6 years to drink with Andy. It’s better than the first time.

Very strong and the chocolate and cherries really come through. Would be a great dessert beer.
