C'est bon! Chaleur d'alcool encore bien présente après 8 ans de vieillissement. Légère madérisation, avec la cerise et le cacao on dirait un genre de porto légèrement acidulé. C'est très agréable!

Particulates have separated finally. Little to no carbonation. Still, it tastes fine. Tart nose. Sweet, boozy finish. Cherry undertones.

It’s actually aged quite nicely. Tons of cherry flavor and aroma with some chocolate. The chocolate seems strong toward the bottom of the bottle.

This one has been hiding in the fridge for long enough. Super interesting.

Five years later.. my goodness how this has changed. Mellow, creamy chocolate and cherry. Smooth and deliscious. Sweet but not too sweet.

My last Johnmay beer! :-(. Interesting. Thick. Sweet and sour cherry, maybe a smidge of chocolate. Nice slow sipper. Thanks John!

Угостили как-то в Рыжем Эрике. Плотное, сладкое, чем-то напомнило херес или мадеру.

2015, still way to complex. Chocolate, sweet cherry. Way to sweet.

Definitely a beer that gets better with age. 7 y.o. bottle and absolutely spectacular. Thick chocolate-cherry cake with a touch of booze.
