Sharing a bottle of this beautiful, aged stout with Kathleen M. and Been R. on my first visit to Dogfish Head! 😃 Chocolate, vanilla, nice BA flavour coming through. Thank you guys for bringing me to this place and putting up with my foreign arse. 😂🍻

Vanilla, oak, cocoa, mild roast, sweetness, malty, smooth, rich, and decadent. Glad to share with Kathleen M. and Jenny B.

Great way to celebrate stout day. Sadly it's fading in its age.

6 years later…a lot of the vanilla is gone but still there in the background. Stout is bold and big and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the massive abv. I think my lips are going numb. Could it possibly have gained extra in the bottle?

This held up very well. So smooth. Vanilla faded a bit.

Annual black Friday DFH gift card sale, then lunch. Drinking my favorite version of the WWS.

In this 2017, I notice the vanilla has been overtaken the last 6 years by the bourbon. The bourbon has become very forward and is present throughout. The coffee notes arrive mid through and linger on the finish along with the bourbon. Very boozy.

Had this in 17 and 20. This has aged really well. memories of drinking this when I went back to TN when the hurricane came up the gulf coast in august 2017

Tasting fine at this age. Back when I got it I heard best at ~10 years, saving my last bottle for then.

I am required to check this in every time I open one ( and this is not the last). Bottled on 06/05/2017

Operation Clear the Cellar I think the aging on this bottle might have made it better. The barrel notes held up, as did the vanilla. It was less sweet (in a good way) than I remember having it fresh.

Bottle pour, vanilla sweet is a bit pronounced, but roasty barrel flavor is not far behind
