Waardige 300e!

Continuing my Belgian Gueze/Lambic adventure. Like crisp apple cider, but with bit of the malty flavour. Very tasty.

I need to get some more of this and let it sit a while but I think it's drinking great right now.

Vanilla and Oak upfront. Citrus and apple afterwards... Dry finish... Enjoyable!

Opaque amber, funky sniffs of tangy, citrusy earth, tart, appley, almost cheesey funk, woody & drying. A fabulous breakfast beer! Thanks again Soniq S.! 4.35.

LCI Erg mooi deze. Heel veel houtrijping merkbaar. Verder mooi zacht zuurtje. Klein beetje appel in de smaak. Erg nice

Surprisingly sharp for a 5 year old bottle, super dense wood is prominent.

Edgier than I would’ve expected, nice woodiness though

Super oaky and mushroomy, very low acidity for a gueuze. Bright aged hop flavor, a bit of lightstruck aroma, and for emphasis, so much oak. Wonder how long this was aged for, feels like a long time. Dry, super fine carbonation

First almost no-carb one :o. A bit oxidated but none the less very enjoyable and almost hitting 5 year bottled mark.
