Refined, nuanced and elegant. Nice geuze flavor with a subtle color and nose. Crisp, fruit and poignant yet bold thanks to the barrel I suspect. A nice way to start to wind down the trip.

4.30. В носе много и сразу, попробую расчленить: лаймово-лимонные корки со свежим лемонграссом, вымороженным бочковым сидром, оттенки ванили про чернослив и шепталу на классическом гезовом о старом кожаном часовом ремешке, седле и совсем тоненько о ферме,

Brewed on 1/7/2015, bottled on 12/19/2016 Gold; white head; floral; hay; apricot; apple; subtle white pepper; water cracker; full-bodied; subtly tart; off-dry; moderate bitterness.

Bière de gauche. J'ai vraiment aimé faire la comparaison. Deux produits bien construits. Au nez, c'est sur le cuir avec un côté pomme verte. En bouche, l'expérience est différente, c'est sucré et vanillé. Belle touche fruitée en réchauffant.

I must have mixed this up with something, I was sure I had had this. But now having it, I am not a fan at all. Very boozy. Tastes like cheap lambic that someone poured a shot of vodka in. Ew.

Boon discovery box: Ça commence fort, malté, rond, bien dosé niveau acidité, fruité, pomme, spiritueux, bois. Sensation de sucre, me rappelle le fun de boire un lambic en fût de spiritueux. Ma favorite sur les 3 bues.
