perhaps just a tad flatter after 8 yrs (?) but this allows the cherry flavor through cleanly. Very smooth, tasty.

Starts OK, but as it warms, it gets more & more delicious. Made in 2015, best before March 2036! Should have bought two. 😔

Dark red beer, pink/red creamy head. Aroma: red fruits, cherries, acidity, tart. Retronasal: sourness. Taste: refreshing, red fruits, slightly sweet, mild sourness, tart, slightly astringent. Moderate carbonation.

I've stocked up on a lot of lambics, particularly krieks and gueuzes, over the last few months. They keep for years and are a sound investment for a rainy day. Or a Sunday night when you fancy something sweet to drink. Might end up opening a mead next...

The nose makes you think you’re in for a ride, but it’s so much smoother and subtler than you could imagine. It has aged well

Kriek, but sour rather than dry. Most dry Kriek I’ve ever had. I like that dry cherry flavor tho.
