Trocken, Kellertreppe, alte Heizung, Kork, Holz. Säure fehlt etwas, wird aber durch das schöne Pairing beigesteuert. Exquisit. 3,9

The Belgians know how to make a sour beer. Slightly tart, slightly bitter. Like a lip snacking tart lemon rind with a little pith. A hair spicy. 7 years in the bottle and no skunking. Awesome.

The funk leans a little chemically in this one. Nicely tart and interesting otherwise.

Aroma: bailed native straw dusty with dried wildflowers, funky chinotto syrup & pickled lemon brine over a vanilla sponge cake. Full bodied with a baked acidity. Flavor: clove spiced apricot danish, gingerbread macaroons & rye old fashioned burnt orange.

Leuke vergelijking tussen 2014 en 2017. Deze is zachter en fruitiger, alsook minder scherpzuur.
