Funky cherry pie filling and a pinch of ground almond. Body is fabulously tart, cherry stone nuttiness, damp hay bale funk and overripe morello cherries. Thick and juicy mouthfeel with a twist of lemon zest.

Sweet cherries, light balsamic and a bit of mulled spice on the nose. Tastes lighter, sharper and has a light funk about it. Bit of wine. 1/2. Not 1/3. No mucking about.

Rich ripe Morello cherries roughly chopped but not de-pitted, scattered liberally over a baked Brie coated with rich soured cream nose; taste is (almost jammy) rich sour cherries, with pit (stone) tannin bitterness, musty oak barrel & soft brett funk.

1/3 pint - a nice balance of cherry, funk and sourness in this draft only kriek from Boon. Lovely cherry colour too.

Much more like their Oude Kriek than the somewhat overly sweet basic Kriek commonly found in supermarkets.
