Always a great beer and to have it on tap here is great. A bit more acidic and sour than the older bottles which get a nice jammy characteristic to them, still great though

Rosé de Gambrinus (2021) Beerman
Third time having this iteration and geez it's a good version. Sweet raspberry perfectly balanced by the sour, tart acidity. I could drink this all day, especially with a side of blue cheese
about 1 year ago
Really enjoyed this, pushing 5 and will have to get a bottle one time to give it another go. The pepper worked so well, sweet yet spicy. Delicious. Only beer I missed getting a photo of!
After the first this was almost a let down, lacked the depth of flavour. Good but should have done these in the opposite order

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2021) Beerman
Been looking forward to trying this and it didn't disappoint. Blueberries for days and a lovely level of acidity and sweetness. Beautiful drop!
Yep Sophia is good, funky and delicate but she didn't hold a candle to the next one
about 1 year ago
This was one of the highlights of the night, surprised its not rated higher tbh. Was phenomenal and would crush a bottle of this way way way too easily

Grand Cru Bruocsella Brut (2016) Beerman
Expected this to be all but nope and boy oh bou was the flavour great too. A very high bar to commence the evening of monster beers
about 1 year ago
LCI birthday beer that I had a day late as I was so fucking gonococcal on my birthday (you'll all see why with the number of incoming check ins). Great as always, seemed slightly more fruity, less acidic and totally crushable. New glass too!

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2023) Beerman
LCI the first of Zwanze day, a very nice little opener, good stuff
about 1 year ago
LCI probably my last favourite cantillon to date, too briney, iodine flavour a slightly medicinal. Got better as it warmed up, a week balanced beer but not my cup of tea
about 1 year ago
LCI the winner of the Cantillon's, fresh apricot goodness, no where near as acidic as other Fou I've had, great beer!
LCI this got better and better as it warmed up. All of the kegs were way too cold so I was glad I triple parked myself and allowed the beers time to warm up.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2023) Beerman
LCI always great and my first time having this on tap. Great drop and a nice balance of sweet jammy goodness with tartness and acidity
about 1 year ago
Rosé de Gambrinus (2021) Beerman
LCI the winner of the 3, shows these are best fresh, not that they are bad older, just the sweet very shines more fresh
about 1 year ago
LCI another 5, two that's right in handing them out like tic tacs. This was almost the winner of the night too tbh, was blown away by how good rhubarb lambic could be. Have 2 bottles in the cellar and I'm looking forward to drinking them
about 1 year ago
LCI at the start of the night I would have said this would be the winner, but surprisingly it finished in 4th and even the Vignerrone was only a whisker behind it. We all agreed probably a bit to aggressively sharp, I liked the vanilla, others not so much
about 1 year ago
LCI really really good and a nice come back down from the intensity of magic. Lighter, more subtle and simply beautiful
about 1 year ago
Rosé de Gambrinus (2019) Beerman
LCI finished with the rose vertical, 3 years all similar but different, a cool little experiment. This was the least raspberry but was still quite sweet.
Rosé de Gambrinus (2020) Beerman
LCI I have this 4.75 last time but I've had many better cantillon since. Still incredible but it is a bit to acidic and sharp which takes aways from the lively raspberry. After a few sips it starts to shine but initial sip is intense

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) Beerman
LCI woah baby we stayed strong, sweet, smooth, honey like, the winner of the night but not the only 5. Some amazing beers that is happily drink again and again
about 1 year ago
LCI surprised that this was the weakest of the big 6 we did, amazing beer nonetheless but just didn't quite hit the spot like the others.
LCI this was spectacular, a close second for me for the night, light and a bit more delicate than most of the others but everything was beautifully balanced. Delightful drop!
The homework begins. I enjoy Iris but Cantillon definitely make better beers. Fairly soft and fluffy but enough tart apricot and sourness to make it enjoyable. A strong start.

LCI oh boy that is my sort of thing, sweetness balanced out with a sharp acidity, lovely beer and very happy I have one tucked away in the cellar for a rainy day
over 1 year ago
7 years old but drinking pretty well, cherry is fading but holding on
over 1 year ago
LCI the first Xmas day bomb, so damn good. Raspberry for days but the acidity, sourness and jammy sweetness are so perfectly balanced. If there is a beer I wish I could drink every day for the rest of my life it's a coin flip between this and magic lambic
over 1 year ago
LCI the 2022 edition, enjoyed in the park with my coffee guy 2 celebrate us both having had kids in recent months. The 1st time I had this I found it too dry and lacking sweetness but each time I've had it since it has been almost jammy sweet. Great beer!

Like always Lorenz being way too generous. Nice little taste before having to head home.
Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2022) Beerman
Well to no 1s surprise this is a belter. Super carbonated, large head, great colour and the flavour is a lovely funky cherry. The sweetness comes through late but after having older variants before I seem to recall it is more prominent with some age on it
over 1 year ago
Rosé de Gambrinus (2021) Beerman
Well I needed to have a monster or 2 considering it's father's day. This is such a great drop, jammy raspberry, sour and tart, a bit funky but the raspberry is the winner and what makes this so good. Actually not too far behind Lou Pepe Frambois.
Well it hurt the wallet but it had to be done as another celebration beer, funky, sour, grapes, sweet and acidic all balanced beautifully. One of the best I've had from cantillon and could easily have smashed the whole bottle myself
almost 2 years ago
LCI well it's nice to get a solid little taste of this just because you always spend too much money here. Absolutely brilliant lambic
almost 2 years ago
Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2021) Beerman
I'm back after 2 weeks away from untappd. The birthday beer seems a fair reason to get back on and maybe do my homework later tonight. Great as always, would be perfect with some blue cheese but Rockpool dinner after this will have to do

Mikkeller Oude Geuze (Old Calvados Casks Blend) Beerman
LCI oh yeah that's right to my alley, might go back and buy the last 2 bottles tbh

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4% Beerman
Had this before in tap at DTC, still very good from a bottle a few years later. Great drop!

LCI into the Xmas day homework. Started big with a bomb, shared with the brother and sister in law who both loved it. Amazing drop, definitely buy more than 1 next time I have the chance! Red grapes balanced beautifully with standard Cantillon brilliance

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio Beerman
LCI first time having this on tap, delightful as always

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2021) Beerman
LCI is had this before (a whole bottle to myself) and thought his not great, was more enjoyable the second time. I've got a bottle tucked away in the cellar, see how it ages
almost 3 years ago
Kriek 100% Lambic (2017) Beerman
LCI I've had different years of kriek and different ages. The oldest and definitely the best iteration I've had. Cherry is so prominent and not too drying like the other versions of the kriek I've had. Spectacular, top 3 of the master-class.
Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2018) Beerman
Well I needed to raid the cellar for something huge. This fits the bill but the flat beer is tasty but the lack of carbonation let's it down
almost 3 years ago
LCI I'm not a massive apricot in beer fan but this was delightful. Not quite as good as the magic lambic but still an exceptional beer. I have one tucked away in the cellar for another time
almost 3 years ago
Bloody amazing, hurt the hip pocket but worth the trip in early to try this. Raspberry with a smooth light vanilla finish. Acidic and sour but the sweetness of the berries compliments it perfectly. Won't hesitate to fork out the money to drink this again!
LCI another it if the arse from Lorenz, the finisher of the night that only 4 if is got. Special beer and can't wait to crack the bottle I have tucked away in 5 or so years time
almost 3 years ago
LCI it's Cantillon of course it was good but there was better over the night.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio Beerman
My first up birthday beer, 2020 edition. Sour acidity, apple is the most prominent flavour but really it is just perfect sour beer goodness.
LCI was good but maybe it wasn't quite stout time cause I struggled to really enjoy this
over 3 years ago
HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2019) Beerman
Palette cleansing lambic before a monster, didn't realise I'd had this previously, cracking beer!
HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2021) Beerman
Improved as it warned up, very carbonated and lively straight from the pop of the bottle, nice level of sour acidity with subtle hints citrus and fruit
over 3 years ago
Wow the aroma was huge yet delicate on the palette. Fruity, funky delicious. Nice purchase Mark T.!

LCI better than the watery one before but still not great, couple of disappointing over priced stouts tbh

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Beerman
LCI got the KBS flight at DTC but they'd sold out of the 2016. Coffee for days in these 3 beers, all similar but slight differences. This was my favourite of the 3
