Grand Cru Bruocsella Brut (2016)
Couldn’t make it to zwanze this year but decided to still celebrate. This guy is excellent! Nice funk upfront, could definitly be aged for longer. Much more enjoyable than the regular bruoc I had a few months back

Well if this isn’t a sweet spot! Incredible! All the right funk and sour hitting in all the right ways. Time to swoop more iris and age for 10 years!

Well I thought I had the strangest cantillon with the zwanze beat, but this one takes the cake. Very unique, dry and musky. Like a char tabacco from a cigar. Balanced by a berry sweetness and slight plastic. My buddy said it best, I think I like it.

Really solid but drowned out by the beers around it. Could probably drink this all day. Slight tart and slight funk. Could use some time, but tasty regardless

I’ve had multiple vintages of this guy and it’s always all over the place. This guy was opened bout 4 years too soon! Very very young

Excellent, I’ve had this a guy a bunch of times but never had a bottle, really nice to drink through. Lots of fruit and a real nice cheesy funk. Tastier with each glass

Excellent vintage! Man I wish I was able to put this down for a bit longer as the funk feels like it’s going in a good direction. This guy has all the things I love about geuze. Apparently rhubarb is the secret

Well this is in a really good place! 2 years is a really nice amount of fruit, funk and sour. Especially nice to have after barleywine! Edit: man this guy is drinking so good, I had to bump the score. This is incredible right now

Real nice, grape pomace in front, slight funk, oak, tannic and delicious! Classic cantillon culture. Bet a few years will make this guy incredible! Edit: had to bump the score, Funk comes out as it opens up, fruit and funk are fantastic together

I’ve heard a lot about this one. Always missed out on the last batch, not this time. My son was baptized today, lazy lambic on the menu. Excellent funk on this one, a lot like the seasons funk, very enjoyable, wish I had a second to age a long time

Nice and funky on the nose. Real nice mushroom funk. Honestly resembles a bigger bodied classic gueuze. As it warms and decanter it gets better and better. Don’t really get any port notes, but this is highly enjoyable! Edit: big port in the last glass

Big grape and oak upfront, funk and finishes dry, this guy has aged really well.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac)
Wow big barrel presence. First time I’ve said boozy to a lambic or something 7% lol, not in a bad sense but the cognac let’s you know it’s there. Im really enjoying this guy, barrel works well with the base. Fantastic!
