Very different than the last bottle. Touch oxidized, fluffy lemons, dusty. Carb is very soft, nice!

Assertive grapefruit and light lemon. Nice, creamy, rich body. Light bitterness, moderate acidity, not funky yet. Finish is a lingering barley and mustiness. Really nice, but would have guessed 4-5 years old blind, not 7-8. 4.6-4.7.

Robe orange foncée trouble. Légère mousse en bord de verre. Nez : funky, abricot, abricot confit, cuir, figue, rustique, fleur du verger. Carbo très fine et légère. Bouche : abricot, acide, boisé, cuir, funky, fermier. Poussière, citronné, pomme. Superbe

Oldest gueuze in my cellar. Still comes across as remarkably fresh. Overall impression is lightly soured orange juice/rind with a hint of vinegar (in the best way of course). Surprised that there is a touch of bitterness/pith that braces it nicely.

Amazing aroma of cheese and gentle oak. Whiffs of dry sherry even, old books. Wow. Gentle mousse , sweetness ripe stone fruits and Cantillon funk. You can taste the brewery - gets spicier and eventually mineral and bitter even in the finish. Great bottle!
