Absolutely delicious! The white grapes shine and this bottle is particularly special given the fact it was acquired way back in 2014 during my sisters visit to Kentucky.

10/22/13 bottle. Thanks Al. The nose is off and somewhat metallic/acidic. Flavor is better with some Brussels basement, lemonade, oak, grape skins, and peach skins.

Exceeded my expectations. Not much nose but the flavors really pop. Lemongrass, oak, grape wines, hint of sweet peach. So well balanced. Great start to vacation

Super sour. Can feel it in your jaw. Not very complex. Good but I feel like this bottle is over the hill.

Tart and funky. Nice minerality, white grape, leather, roasted lemon, oak, bone dry finish with drying tannins.

Apparently this ‘13 was not a good vintage. Acetone, and some paint thinner. Had this batch at Al’s somewhat recently and was also not good, but this is really rough for Cantillon.

This is fucking sexual. Grape, must, dirty bottom of the barrel. Just spectacular.

Dusty wine cellar, cidery acidic notes and earthy funk on the nose. Assertive and complex acidity with a slight acetic note and some white wine tang. Dusty funk, earthy notes, a tiny hint of smoke and barrel tannins lengthened by dryness and spritzy carb.

Quite the story on the bottle and quite the story on the night. Tart but primarily bold white grape. Lambic profile like only Cantillon can do. Thanks for hanging on for 9 years you beautiful bottle.

Really acidic/tart bottle. First sip felt bright and then subsequent sips were…less bright ;)
