Damn. First time having cantillon on draft. Sublime. Less tart than expected but still sweet. Very smooth and fruity. Almost melt in your mouth feel.

Funky, but not as much as the gueze. Dry tart cherry flavor comes through, with a particular hit at the end

Maybe it was the price tag / hype factor, but I was disappointed. No real taste of stone fruit to my palate, and minimal funk compared to many American sours, like Justin Timberlake vs Rick James. I hope my next one isn't as underwhelming.

When opened, the wine had a slight stables earthy smell, typical Lambic acidity, and some cherry notes. It was bubbly, with just the right acidity for me, comfortable but not sharp, with a distinct cherry in the middle and a slight bitterness in the back.
