Amazing how this one hasn’t changed much in the years. This was a great year for Iris. Super funk and tart. Great lambic showcase and sour soul. Acid on jazz. Loved it.

Still my jam. Love old iris, drank liters of all the vintages available over the week end, not one let down. Gets leathery and oaky as hell!

Mild explosief in de neus. Krachtig van smaak. Zuurtje, tikje azijn, aanwezig. Droge, prikkelende afdronk.

Still alot of hop brightness at 7 yrs, yons of funk a bit acidic. maybe 10 is the sweet spot for this one?

Vacation mode - black tea, musty funk, balanced acidity. Carb is super soft.. Nice minerality.

EB from last Friday. Tasted blind and paired with fried bread, anchovy, lemon and herbs. Cheesy funky and delicious with perfectly balanced acidity. Also one of the best lambic pairings I’ve ever had!
