DMC Brew

Spectacular brew 2nd only to the Vig today. Still plenty of carb with ~11 years on it. Very refreshing mouthfeel on this and even more diverse fruitiness versus the 2015 vintage. In addition to apricot, I also got raspberry and peach. Mellowed well. 4.75

8/26 AA Share — 10 year Fou vert. Minor subtleties in tartness, fruitiness, funk, and carbonation, but obviously all were very similar and very good.

First old Cantillon (with no evidence of poor storage) that I didn’t enjoy. Notably lactic, mildly funky, and mildly fruity. Great carb & body. Seems like stone fruit shouldn’t age, but I was hoping Cantillon would be the exception.

2012 Vintage. Sensational! Mouthwatering Apricot & Stone Fruit. Subtle Tartness (due to age), Smooth & Funky.

Sharper acidity vs. the 2020 one. Less fruit but not faint. Seems a totally different beer vs. the 2020 but in a good way. Sipping beer but not as crushable as the fresher batch
