Not horrible but not nearly on the level of the “good” bottles from back in the day. A fun tick to revisit!

Beautiful stuff, could have easily domed this one all by myself…but so great to see my friends! Dare I say I like this more than St Lam ⁉️

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2012)
Needs 20+ min to open up. Ultra smooth Cognac, a touch of sweetness, very light carb/slick mouthfeel, light to medium body. Nice funky oak presence. As good as this is right now, I think this has even more aging potential.

One of my favorites! Big tannic tannic wine-forward nose with a mix of funk. Palate is more lambic-forward with a blend of delicious big red grapes. Light to medium body. Very smooth with the perfect blend of wine & lambic. Just outstanding stuff!

Needs more time IMO but drinking pretty good right now. Orange marmalade, light funk, citrus, oak. Probably even better in 3-5 more years. Good stuff!

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2021)
4.35…needs a little time to open, lots of fresh blueberries and nice light funky jam.

Not quite the fresh quaffable apricot juice I was expecting based on my experience with previous fresh vintages, but still a nice dose of tart apricots that goes down fairly easy.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2010)
Age really does this beer wonders. Wonderful stuff. Funky & musty, sweet apples, citrus. Easy to drink with lots of complexity!

Pours dark purple/red, fizzy thin head. Very much a meld of berry delicious, not quite Bläbær but not quite Rosé De Gambrinus... something in between. Can’t say I’ve never had a honey berry but it makes for crushable jammy lambic juice!

Absolutely phenomenal 750ml crusher. Aging wonderfully!

Beautiful beer that blurs the lines between a pint of lambic & a refreshing glass of white wine on a Sunday spring afternoon. Will age well. 4.6 but rounding up 👍

Pours golden yellow/orange. Nose is pretty (surprisingly) fruit-forward w/ tart apricot juice, light funk, oak, barnyard hay. Sour Patch Kids apricot candy that wakes your face up upon sipping. Good, but definitely best enjoyed fresh & mostly #forscience.

Pours a slightly murky reddish orange. Head quickly dissipates. Nose is raspberry jelly, sherbet, & funk. Palate is sweet jammy raspberries, yogurt, & sweet tarts. Still lots of red fruit in there. Wow! Lambic > errythang

Happy Valentine’s Day, ya filthy animals! Drinking like next level juice from the future that cures all who drinks its contents.

Murky swap lambic, medium acidity, grapes are there, lighter funk. Really tasty but not quite as good as the last bottle but still very tasty.

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2012)
Nose is funky barnyard blueberries & oak with the emphasis on funk. Still plenty of blueberries on the palate, but it’s now well-integrated into the beer and is less evident versus a fresh vintage. Acidity is low to medium, crushable funk juice.
