With Van Roy Senior signature. Super tart. Super funk. Salty curd with apricot jam. Dry and mineral.

Naast de 2020. Eerst verkies ik de '20, daarna de '15. Iets zachter dan de 2020. Geur is zalig alleszins. Over de smaak valt te twisten, maar overall hele goeie Lambiek!!!

Damn, this aged nicely. Out of the gate, I remember being less than impressed after how good 2014 was. 6 years on, it’s somehow more juicy and the acidity has mostly overtaken the funk. 8/10 acidity, pushing too much, but went well the Turkey.

Big improvement on the 18. Much smoother, fruit much clearer and sharper

8/26 AA Share — 10 year Fou vert. Minor subtleties in tartness, fruitiness, funk, and carbonation, but 15&16 were my favs.

Lugter af en blanding af søde, syrlige bær og et lille hint af eddike. Smagen eksploderer i munden, dejlig syrlig. Det smager som om der er mange frugter i eftersmagen, lidt blommet blandet med skovbær?.

Inte riktigt lika bra som förra gången. Med det sagt. Svingod

By a long way the best aged Fou I’ve ever tasted. This is a demonstration how important aging conditions are. Old Fou is known for being sulphuric and urine-y. We drank this against Fou 22 and it won hands down. Never happened for me before.

Lots of upfront tartness to start that gradually reduces. Fairly solid fruitiness - got a ton of apricots, along with slight berry and overripe peach in the body. Fairly soft and smooth in the body, but with a nice dry and somewhat clean finish. 4.6
