Semi-sweet rhubarb nose, pie like with light earthy vegetal funk. Bright and funky flavor, more tart and fruity rhubarb than vegetal, balanced acidity, prickly, brine and funk on finish.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio
Surprisingly bright and fruity to start, light funk
about 2 years ago
Surprisingly bright and fruity up front, almost berry and plum like, doesn’t ever get particularly tannic, hint of pepper, finish with a drier earthy and light leather funk. Unique, nice.

Jan 11 2016. Pleasant jammy raspberry aroma. Strawberry and raspberry fruit with crisp acidity building through finish with mineral funk throughout. Bright and crisp, not bad for this beer and age

First sip is jarring, sulfuric white grape juice. Tart and juicy, mild funk, soft sulfur in finish. Alternates being too sharp and drinkable

375, yellow label, bottled 17 sept 2010. Slightly brighter than expected nose, wet earth, attic funk, flavor is smooth and deep with lemon funk, leather, oak; bright citrus to start then basement mineral funk to finish

Fudgey chocolate, fuller body that I expected from other reviews, traditional KBS flavors largely drowned out, light bourbon on finish and trace coffee roast

Very floral and funky. Not quite in a good way. Lemon juice, vinous, floral bitterness. Odd.

Very good. Much better than recent fresh cantillon gueze. Funkier and more of a fruit like presence. Illusion of more interesting barrels

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2010)
Sweet peach tart candy nose. More acidic and lemon through body with building musty funk. Brighter and less soupy than the Iris, but prefer the complexity of the Iris

Meal like and funky. More sour than expected to start, mellow funk throughout and into the finish. Soft apricot and stone fruit pit, light floral bitterness in finish. 2010 cork

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac)
A little rough around the edges. Barnyard and musty funk with a strong cognac barrel sweetness. Enjoyable but not at the level as Armagnac batch was fresh

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2017)
Cantillon funk nose. Surprising fruity like presence in body with a dry, dank musty finish

375 mL, 3 June 2014. I guess this year is doing ok if it wasn’t aged in South Jersey? Fruity, lemon, vanilla oak, bright funk

Miles Davis' Bitches Brew (2010)
Not as horrible as last time I had it. At least carbed and full body this time and sour notes are less in your face. Dark chocolate, dark fruit, honey. Drinkable but why
