Rosé De Gambrinus (2022)

Lambic - Framboise

The Rosé de Gambrinus Cantillon is obtained by macerating fresh raspberries in two years old Lambic. Its complex aromas and sour taste make this unique beer an excellent thirst-quencher. Keep at a temperature of 12-15• and serve at 6-7•. Beer with taste evolution. In order to fully appreciate the fruity taste of the Rosé de Gambrinus, it is best to drink it within one year after the purchase. To be drunk preferably within 10 years after the bottling date.

Of the Cantillon on draft, this was the stand out! Sharp intense fruit which layers the acidity and funk on the finish. The best fruited lambic and possibly Cantillons best beer.

Ah, that’s the stuff. Had only tried this one aged a couple of years, and fascinating to now try it fresher. So vivid in flavour, but equally subtle in the mouthfeel. What a classy beer. It truly doesn’t get much better than this.

Lovely. Tart, jammy raspberry leads with a mix of funk and balsamic flavours following before adry finish.

Most raspberry I’ve tasted in a Cantillon. Tart. Not the same water profile I remember but still good in a different way

Beginning of the keg, had to wait quite a while for it, amazing raspberry aroma, great raspberry flavour, not too sour but sweat inducing acidity, very dry

Beautiful deep rose colour with some haze. Nose is bursting with raspberry and wild fermentation brightness. Incredible amount of raspberry up front, followed by a hit of tartness that has enough restraint to make this very approachable. Amazing.

Huge stuff ! The feeling of precision is super high level. The acidity is dry and direct, a bit herbal and also , a kind of saltiness. A lot of love here.
