I like to take nice photos of the beers that deserve it. What a beer. Popped this open while filling our white wine barrel, only fitting.

4.65? Strange I haven't yet tapped this one. But right now this one is almost perfect, elegant, funky, citric, very vinous and woody, grapes and tears all over. Thanks Marco M.!

22Oct2017; .75cl. Real nice Brie cheese funk on the nose, mixed in with some dried apricot(?!) Gentle acidity, apple skin, lemon, bit of peach, limestone on the finish. Overall very soft and impressive complexity. Great to share with some A+ neighbors.

22Oct2017 bottle, 3rd check-in. This one was a bit more acidic, a bit less integrated. Still got that washed rind cheese on the nose, with some lemon and floral aromas.

Even better 20 months since I last had it. Soft fruit, balanced funk and acidity. Bit of a creamy finish that I associate with my favorite lambics. Glad I have a few more, but this is a vintage worth seeking out more, too. 4.85

More tartness than typical for a ‘loon. Strawberry sour patch kid hit the nose as soon as the cork popped. Nice.

Incredible vintage and perfect age... Had this after a white grape natural wine, they are cousins for sure but the Lambic is the hands down winner!
