All that is and ever shall be. Quintessential king of classic gueze. Dis taste is quite unique to previous imbines. Superior gnarly blue cheese funk combo w/ pear juice sweetnss is poppin off. At coolish cellar temp this is singing. Aged 3 yrs

Enjoyed this very rare treat in 375ml bottle at The Sovereign in Washington DC. Pours a peachy amber color with ample head. The smell.. after all this time still brings me to tears. The taste is absolute perfection of the style, tart and so smooth.

D:Sept 6, '17 - last had 12/31/21; too long ago. @ 6+ years, still spectacular. Playoff football, flatbread & fire only make it better. Still some light citrus, a cedar note is pretty forward.

D:9/16/17 - Merry Xmas to me. Now @ 3yrs 3mos, This shows an aggressive lemon note early. 10 min out of the fridge was too early - let this warm for all of the funky hay and late pepper to really blossom.

Softened some I guess, a mellower tartness, now the funky straw and a slightly richer sweetness lead the way. Glad I held onto a bottle for a while, we’ll worth the wait.

de Garde 10th. Absolutely glorious. Nice to know that my son's birth year vintage is doing well. Funk, more funk, citrus and lemon, cereal grain, oak, more funk. Just really well rounded lambic that I need to remember to never overlook in the cellar.
