Still big but thin, surprised at how much coffee is there, usually that mellows by now. Fading chocolate accentuates it.

Probably too early in the day to open a 12% alc beer, but it is a breakfast stout after all. And you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!

Nose a little weaker than 2018. Not as well developed but the roast is bolder. Sweet coffee with the same light bourbon hints.

Same flavor components as 2018, but the bourbon and coffee are stronger. Chocolate is coming out more as is warms a bit.

Lekker. Wel wat meer pure chocolade. Droger. Zuurder. Beetje vanille bourbon. Niet de beste versie.

Today is 2019 KBS vs 2019 Bourbon County. The KBS had a little more chocolate than the Bourbon County and last week 2018 KBS.

On tap. Better have a go before it’s gone. Still a fair amount of bourbon even 3 years on. Burnt drip coffee flavours. A little fruity and bitter. Pkgd 13/02/2019; Sweetness 1.5/10

Honestly pretty flat taste wise not carb wise. Had a cbs 2019 right before this that was still pretty rockin. CBS was much better than kbs I guess. I will check that in now for posterity.

Bfln, following up chocolate rain with this was a bad choice as it came off as watery in comparison but it offers some oak and green coffee on the nose, a medium light bodied smooth dark chocolate cacao mid and a slightly boozy, dry bourbon finish

Solid AF. Well balanced and rich. Just a hair past it's prime but still solid.

A great beer to sip on. But it still needs a couple of more years as it still has a bite to it.

3 years in my cellar. Bourbon most prominent in contrary to the 2018 version where the bourbon were almost gone. Apart from that it’s somehow flat. Not much else there.

Wouldn’t want to miss out on International Stout Day. Has held up very well, chocolate still very predominant.
